Kids Shine at 2013 Tourney

YT13PosterOur 2013 Youth Tournament was a HUGE success!  All of the participants beautifully demonstrated all of the hard work and effort they have put in to become the “shining” martial artists that they are.

     Families and friends were present in grand style, supporting and enjoying the events at hand.  From beginning to end, opening ceremonies, to closing ceremonies, the day was filled with fun and excitement.  The intermission demonstration also received high praise, especially, the bat-breaking grand finale!!

DEMination Continues!

ZenQuest’s Jiu-jitsu guru Demian Maia continued his domination streak in UFC’s 46737_209032789240649_1909712944_nwelterweight division with his convincing win over contender Jon Fitch in UFC 156.  The 5-time world Jiu-jitsu champ “out Fitched” Fitch with overwhelming wrestling and Jiu-jitsu, resulting in the cage veteran defending attacks from his back for the majority of the fight.  The decision was awarded to Maia, who was moved up to the number five contender spot right after the impressive win.
